What is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda means the "science of life." Ayurveda focuses on balancing an individual's body, mind and spirit and encouraging harmonious living with one's environment. Ayurveda focuses on the individual's state of health and wellbeing and balance with his/her environment. Therefore, we examine all aspects of health including sleep, exercise, finance, intelligence, relationships, spiritual, emotional, physical and mental.
Ayurvedic medicine is at the core of all the programs and services we offer to support your total health. Common ayurvedic protocols include:
- Ayurvedic Constitution Therapy
Ayurveda approaches wellness and nutrition individually, based on many characteristics human exhibit. This creates your ideal diet to support your overall health, wellness, and weight management. Once your constitution is determined, a program guideline may be developed for you to help you on your path to wellness. Your guideline may contain information about the appropriate diet for your type, jump start recipes, colors suitable for you, suitable exercise activities, appropriate oils and more.
- Ayurvedic Body Therapy (Abhyanga)
Through the use of warm herbal oils, this massage is designed to bring nourishment to the tissues, deep relaxation to the muscles and calm feelings to the mind. The oils combined are specific to your individual needs based on the outcome of the consultation.
- Marma Therapy
Marma points are power points located on the body, much like acupuncture points are. They are areas of concentrated life energy and with proper massage and application of essential adjunct therapies this therapy returns the proper flow of life energy that brings balance to the muscles, joints, tissues, and organs of the body.
- Ayurvedic Facial
This unique treatment leaves your face cleansed, moisturized and exfoliated. With the application of 100% natural ingredients, you will experience deep state of relaxation and peace so your skin can naturally shine from the inside out. The soothing application of herbs, oils, and activation of special points on the face, neck and head, leaves your tissues activated and rejuvenated. - Garshana (Exfoliation)

- Basti (Herbal Dough Rings)
This is an ancient treatment for specific areas of the body. Basti utilizes a raised circle of dough filled with medicated herbal oils unique to the ailment and the individual. Basti can be applied to many areas of the body such as:
Back: specifically for lower back pain, strains, sciatic injury and more.
Eye Balance: for eye strain, glaucoma, cataracts and various eye conditions.
Thyroid Balance: for any condition of the thyroid and parathyroid.
Bladder/Reproductive Balance: for any ailment impacting normal function of the bladder and reproductive organs or the pelvic region.
Abdominal/Digestive: this application promotes wellness in the abdominal/digestive areas. Treatment focuses on one organ at a time.
Chakras: this application addresses the major energy centers by gently stimulating proper function and restoring lost energy.

- Full Body Exfoliation and Rejuvenation

- Lymph Drain Therapy
This massage works directly and simultaneously with the three circulatory systems of the body. It drains excess fluids from the blood stream, eases workload on the heart and increases circulation.
- Shirodhara
This therapeutic protocol address the function of the brain. We gently pour medicated liquids over the forehead, specifically the third eye to access the pineal gland, the pituitary gland and the left and right hemispheres of the brain and facilitate balance. Shirodhara supports relief of insomnia, assists endocrine balance, neurological disregulation and general health.
- Panchakarma
Panchakarma is five action cleansing and rejuvenating process that helps the body, mind, and spirit. Process includes various Ayurvedic balancing protocols. This treatment requires in residence application but can be offered as an outpatient program. Clients complete the therapy and report vigor and balance.
